5.5x8.5" booklet given to children "By Santa Claus At Macy's - Christmas 1940." ©1940 R.H. Macy & Co., Inc. Storybook format, w/double page spread, each spread w/story based on letter of the alphabet. Featured characters include Babar the Elephant, Donald Duck (also pictured on front cover) and his Nephews, Krazy Kat, Ignatz, Offisa Pup, Little Lulu and Uncle Sam. Letter "S" has great image of Superman flying towards city in two-page spread. Cover is loose (w/interior archival tape repairs to cover splits)and has wear at spine w/staple rust. Good. Pages are aged w/some minor soiling from staple rust. Fine. Rare premium booklet.
