Item Description
9.25x12.25” Sept. 4, 1920 issue has outstanding four-page bw section on upcoming serial film "The Son Of Tarzan." Illustrations show gorilla triumphant over leopard, Tarzan and Jane walking in jungle as well as two photo images from the film itself. Other content of note include section for "Bride 13," a lost film, two-page spread for Tom Mix film "The Untamed" and a full page letter announcing Charlie Chaplin's upcoming classic "The Kid." Issue has moderate handling wear/aging and Good/VG with Fine contents, some having scattered moisture staining at bottom margins. Early and historic, w/great silent film content. Limited distribution.
