Item Description
Four items from 1934. 3 1/8 x 5.25” mailing envelope has “OCT 17 1934” ink stamp date and “Pete Rice Deputy Club” logo return address with typewritten address of recipient. Contains: 3x5” unused two sided membership card with attached 7/8” metal badge and folded as issued front cover of October “Pete Rice Magazine” with art by Baumhofer and special imprint “Ask Your News Dealer For This Magazine.” Envelope has light creasing and dust soil. VG. Cover has hairlines along fold lines, card has surface wear, Fine. Badge has age toning, VF. Pistol Pete Rice was the Sheriff of Buzzard Gap in a series of Street & Smith “Pete Rice” pulps published between 1933 and 1936. Rare as a complete set.
