Item Description
Both are tin litho c.1930s. First is Marx 12.5x22.5x11" tall tin litho set with cast metal machine gun unit and wooden handle crank. Top of arcade-style shooting gallery reads "National Defense Machine Gun Target Practice." Target bkg. features detailed battle scene with charging soldiers, motorcycles, tanks, fighter planes and artillery. Top center has bell attachment target. Base has three revolving tin targets. Gun is designed to fire BBs although none are included. Gun is mounted with swivel base to change direction of fire which is controlled by crank. Scattered wear w/some oxidation of metal parts. The toy is missing five two sided die-cut cardboard targets that were suspended by string on either side of the bell. These five targets were three parachuting soldiers and two fighter planes. VG. Next is 13.5" dia. tin litho "Mac Mystery Gun" game w/WWI artillery scene. Doughboys/French soldiers seen in foreground. Gravity type pinball-like game. Scattered surface wear, no marbles, one underside stand is bent. VG. Both have nice detail.
