Item Description
1950s made by Halco. #525 size small. 9-1/8x11x3.5” deep thin cardboard box w/cellophane window intact. Lt. aging. VF. Contents include 9” tall thin plastic mask. Elastic strap is here, but never attached. No cracks. Exc. Rayon costume is 34.5” tall w/glitter accents on shirt front including “Chester” name. Lt. aging to upper half, but costume appears to have never been worn. VF. Dennis Weaver first gained fame playing limping deputy Chester Goode on “Gunsmoke” from 1955 to 1964. An unusual choice for a costume for this character, and as such it is rare.
