Item Description
Pencil sharpener is 1.75x3x3" tall w/two lithographed sides. 1929 KFS. An Irwin product. Lower portion has pull-out drawer to empty shavings. Crank has wood knob. One lithographed panel has Popeye holding pencil and paper and saying "Write With A Sharp Pencil An' No One Will Miss The Point!" Other side shows Popeye swinging at pencil and saying "A Sharp Pencil Gives Your Writin' Punch!" Light wear. Fine. Unmarked 1930s Australian tin is 5" tall by 6" wide by 1" deep w/embossed Popeye image lid. Scattered wear w/some surface spots. VG. Both have nice graphics. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
