Item Description
5.5x7.25x1.25" deep box contains complete contents. ©1978 Marvel Comics Group. Karuta game produced exclusively for the Japanese market. See Batman & Robin Karuta game #2540. Box lid has great illustration of Spider-Man fighting giant Japanese robot. Box has moderate wear w/tape at lid corners, one of which is split. VG. We assume game play was to match descriptive text to what Spider-Man/supporting characters were doing on opposite card though text is in Japanese. Illustrated cards have images of Spider-Man fighting Japanese monsters and robots and Spider-Man using web parachute and bouncing a bullet off his chest. Cards have some aging, but are mostly VF/Exc. Scarce.
