Item Description
Lot of three commemorating the July, 1969 lunar landing of Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin. First is 2.5x3-3/8x1" thick block of Lucite w/suspended gold luster Lunar Module in front of black space bkg. w/text "We Came In Peace - Commemorating First Lunar Landing." NM and comes w/soft cloth bag. Next is 2.5" dia. 1.25" tall simulated lunar surface in brass. Raised lettering notes lunar surface features and includes "Apollo Landing Zone." Underside refers to sunken hole on surface and reads "Here Men From The Planet Earth First Set Foot Upon The Moon July 1969, A.D. We Came In Peace For All Mankind" and lists the aforementioned astronauts. NM. Last is 2.25x3.5x3/16" thick brass medal advertising paperweight for "Commercial Travelers Mutual Insurance Company - Utica, New York" that has two images of Earth And has similar text as previous item as well as added facsimile signatures of astronauts and President Nixon. NM.
