See previous item #2889. Box contains pair of 10.5" long canvas shoes w/rubber soles/toes by Kinney/Randy. c. early 1970s. Several styles of Peter Max-designed shoes were made by both Kinney/Randy, and all are highly sought after. Box is marked "Kinney's" and shoes have "Peter Max By Randy" text on heel and on insoles. Box has some handling wear w/staining from tape at sides. Fine. Shoes themselves have been worn, and as such, have wear to soles. Rest of shoes are evenly aged and Fine overall. Comes w/pamphlet for Chicago-area rock station 89 WLS which has ad for Peter Max sneakers on back and shows some of his designs. Exc. and a nice accompanying piece. From the David Baker Collection.
