Item Description
11.25x11.25x1.75" deep box contains heavy 10" dia. china ashtray by Iroquois Syracuse, NY. c. early 1970s. "Opticon" pattern design w/"©Peter Max" name/logo. Nice display box w/original insert/tray. Light aging/wear w/design name stamped on edge and partially obscured by marker. VF. Ashtray is NM as packaged. These ashtrays were produced in smaller sizes as well (see ashtray lot #2905), as evidenced by the included, much smaller 5" dia. ashtray w/matching pattern. NM. Both have "Genuine China By Iroquois - Syracuse, N.Y." stamped on undersides. From the David Baker Collection.
