Item Description
c. 1950s made by Peter Puppet Playthings. 18.5x22.25x4.5” deep box holds three marionettes w/composition heads, hands and feet and fabric clothes. Sizes range from 13.5”to 14.5” tall. Includes Howdy, Clarabell, and Princess Summerfall Winterspring. All three have google eyes, not painted. Comes w/ cardboard stage, backdrop, and scripts. Box has lt. wear w/two corner seam splits. Good/VG. Stage has front and floor, but missing side pieces to keep stable. Fine. Backdrop has some age tanning, but Fine overall. Scripts are Fine. Princess is missing one decal on winter charm on necklace, otherwise marionettes are Exc. As nice as they come, ready to put on your own Howdy Doody show.
