Vol. 1 #1 for October–November 1930 published by Popular Fiction. 6.75x9-7/8” w/144 pages has stylized front cover art by Von Gelb for “Singapore Nights” story w/Asian man at center w/junks on sea in background. Stories include: “The Voice Of El-Lil” by Robert E. Howard and “The Man Who Limped” by Otis Adelbert Kline. Covers have lt. creasing and dust soil, front cover has spine seam splits but still firmly attached. Inside pages evenly tanned Overall VG. One of just nine issues for this title which then became “Magic Carpet” and ran five more issues. All are scarce.
