Soft cover book is 9x12" w/16 stiff paper pages ©1931 Sonnet Publishing Co. w/art by the Van Beuren animation studio. Features character "Milton Mouse," a near dead-ringer for Mickey Mouse. Disney took legal action against the Van Beuren Corporation for plagiarizing Mickey. Book is similar to the Bibo and Lang first Mickey Mouse book. Contains illustrated stories, song "Aesop And His Funny Fables." Uncut and complete including cut-out activity page which is usually missing. Top of front cover has penciled gift inscription, back cover has tanning on right side. Overall covers Fine, contents VF. Scarce. Comes w/three pinback buttons, each 7/8" litho from a 1930s set of 50 different. Includes: #20 Judge, #23 Countess, #24 Puffie. VF/Exc.
