c. 1940s by American Merchandise Distributors. 3.25x3-5/8x5” tall box has Durante on four sides pointing to full body variety puppet. Contains 10” tall variety puppet with composition head. Faint trace of wear. NM. Comes w/1.25" dia. litho button has same photo image as box but bw w/Durante holding full body variety of Umbriago puppet. "My Friend Umbriago" text at top along with facsimile Jimmy Durante signature. Exc. Umbriago was a character on the Jimmy Durante radio show in the 1940s.
