Item Description
c.1950s. 13.25” wide 14.5” long felt fabric has “Gene Autry” facsimile signature on inside binding. Size 7-1/8”. Silk-like lining under crown has art of cowboy on bucking broncho. Trace of lt. aging, bit of wear to top edge of leather lining. Outside has Near Exc. appearance. Comes w/ 8x10” glossy vintage photo of Gene holding hat resembling this one and looking at large stack of boxed Stetson hats. VF. We believe Gene gave hats like this away at rodeo personal appearances.
