Item Description
9.25x12.25" hardcover w/176 pages. "Flame '74" Ringgold High School, Monongahela, PA. This is Montana's Senior yearbook. Typical school portrait within, Montana is also featured in the football team photo, game photo as well as in the basketball team photo and another game photo. Montana seems to dominate the yearbook as he appears yet again in the baseball team section, Men's Chorus, "Sports Personalities" photo (noted as "Big 33, Big 10 Football Team") and as the Senior Class Vice-President. Montana became the Ringgold Rams quarterback during his Junior year and held onto the position until the end of his high school career. Montana achieved even greater fame as a professional football player w/the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Montana started his NFL career in 1979 w/San Francisco, where he played for the next 14 seasons. Traded before the 1993 season, he spent his final two years in the NFL w/Kansas City. While a member of the 49ers, Montana started in four Super Bowl games, winning all of them. He was elected to the Football Hall of Fame in 2000, during his first year of eligibility. Yearbook cover shows moderate wear to back and is Fine w/contents being Exc. Montana's popularity was evident, even in high school.
