Printed in 1946 by Esquire for the 1947 year, this calendar features an array of helpful array of information, spaces for information, Esquire cartoons, descriptive verse and, of course, Vargas pin-ups. Calendar front features half-face shot of a Vargas pin-up. Inside front cover has space for name and addresses, important dates and anniversaries. These date sections also give helpful reminders as to birthstones and anniversary gifts. Pages have a large pin-up in a border on top page and bottom page has calendar w/next and previous months as well as an Esquire cartoon. Back cover features a rear half-face shot of same pin-up as front cover. Has large 1947 text w/Vargas Girls making up numbers. Lt. handling wear, very ft. dust soiling along footer. Pages are clean and tight, Exc. Envelope has been postmarked and has usual mail handling, most occurring on flap which is still intact but has several creases and 1" and 1.5" tears. VG+.
