Auction #206 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1278 in auction 206
Item Description
First is a beautifully detailed 2.75" long figural depiction of a crow in very dark blue and black with text over the body "'Something To Crow About.'" Reverse shows the vehicle and reads "Black Crow Motor Cars" along with a 1906 patent date of the celluloid maker W&H although their name does not appear on the item. The "Black Crow" was in production 1909-1910. With this comes a trio of 1.25" buttons. The first and third have backpaper of F. E. Jens Co of Milwaukee. The first two buttons are identical although one is noticeably faded. Both of these read "Multi-Powered/Crow/Elk Hart/Cars." The third reads the same as the first two but the color scheme is reversed and the color that was once a deeper red is now rather faded. All three buttons display totally clean and glossy. This car was in production 1914-1928. We would estimate the buttons to c. 1916. Four rarities.
