Item Description
This impressive collection was built over many years. The first 20 items in rows 1 through 4 are all 1950s and earlier going back to the 1930s. The remaining items are 1960s or newer. Buttons break down as 23 celluloid and 13 litho. There is a plastic key chain, an early brass stickpin, a modern metal logo stickpin, a tie tack for Los Angeles dealer "Felix Chevrolet" and a tie tack for 1996 "National Council Corvette Clubs." Among the 1950s and earlier buttons seven include a date. The only item in the group with obvious stain is the large 3.5" from 1949 "Philadelphia Zone/The Leaders' Derby/Monmouth Race Track." In the top row the silver on metallic blue 3.5" button has tiny speck trapped under the celluloid. Also in the top row, the first item, one we've not seen before has the "Chevrolet" logo and reads "The Nittany Garage/State College, Pa." An outstanding group of Chevrolet items with vast majority Exc. to Mint.
