Item Description
First is 2.75" oval marked on the curl "By Stanley Toronto" and designed for use in Canada reading "Imperial Esso Service." Likely worn by a gas station attendant. Very light all over surface wear but no serious scratching and piece just has a little less gloss than originally issued. Still displays cleanly and the piece is quite early being from the 1930s or '40s. Second is a 2-1/8" button with spring pin holding 6" ribbon reading "Employee." Button text reads "Dedication Esso December 1, 43/Aviation Gasoline Equipment." That text is on the outer perimeter while center reads "Fluid Catalyst Cracking Plant/Baltimore Refinery/Standard Oil Company Of New Jersey." A very limited and rare issue during the days of World War II. NM displaying Mint.
