Item Description
5.25x6.75" rare Canadian version of the classic premium picture issued by various companies. This version issued by Quick Robin Hood Oats c. 1952, reverse lists various Canadian radio stations airing "The Adventures Of The Lone Ranger." Light handling wear/aging, Fine. Bright and clean, displays VF. Comes w/10.75x15.25" "The Star Weekly Toronto" newspaper comics insert w/four pages. Dated Jan. 26, 1952, front page advertises "Colossal 'Lone Ranger' Contest" including an all-expense tour on Trans-Canada Airlines to Toronto Exhibition and 90 sets of Lone Ranger records. Contest was sponsored by Quick Robin Hood Oats. Folded as issued w/edge wear and aging. Fine. Both items are the first examples we've seen in our 46 years.
