Item Description
3.75x6.25x1.5" deep box contains early Lone Ranger wood/cardboard toy for use w/balloon. c. late 1930s. Early Lone Ranger die-cut cardboard image showing him on Silver wearing bandana instead of mask. This die-cut figure is attached to wire that runs through a wheel that is connected to a hollow wooden pipe. A balloon (new balloon included) is attached at one end, the other used to inflate balloon. Inflating end is then covered, letting air escape through hole below wheel, causing wheel and wire to turn, simulating Lone Ranger figure galloping. Elaborate design. Tiny crease to Silver's leg and even age toning, but VF. Box has original insert but is missing end flap and three interior flaps. VG. Very rare and the first we've offered in our 46 years.
