1-1/8x1.5" gold luster metal case by Lafayette Watch Co. ©1974 Dr. Seuss. Watch has "The Cat In The Hat" image w/Dr. Seuss name and copyright information as well as window w/revolving hour and minute discs that reveal an early digital format. This is known as the "Jump Hour" design and helps wearer "Tell The Time Directly From The Digital Read-Out!" Lt. aging to gold luster but o/w NM and running. Rare variety.
