Item Description
This rectangular piece, open on three sides to hold a matchbox, is 1.75" long. Front has logo of Greek god "Zephyrus/The West Wind" as well as four-car train. Side edge reads "World's Record Non-Stop Run/1015 Miles In 785 Minutes 77.6 M.P.H./Denver To Chicago May 26, 1934/To A Century Of Progress Exposition." Back of the piece also names the train and includes "America's First Diesel Streamline Train Built By Edward G. Budd Manufacturing Company With USS 18-8 Stainless Steel 1934." Trivial hairline scratches on close inspection. Piece displays glossy and Exc.
