Item Description
Each is a superbly colored 7/8" and 18 of the 19 have their backpaper by W&H although with larger text "Compliments Of The High Admiral Cigarette/Riley-Klotz M'f'g Co. Newark, N.J..." Several have some hairline cello splits along the reverse collet but this does not cause any problem visually from the front. There is just one button row4 #3 with small but obvious rim stain. The group includes several black jockeys along with several female jockeys. Some buttons name the particular jockey but some just name the stable for example "Aug. Belmont Colors." The one missing button is for "Fred Taral, Jockey. Marcus Daly Colors." A beautiful and quite scarce set.
