Item Description
First is 6" ribbon with stickpin reading "Olympic/Ice Skating Fund." Minor light age but Extremely Fine. Second is 5.5" ribbon with stickpin reading "Central Ass'n A.A.U./Outdoor Track & Field Championship/June 24, 1944/Official." Small bit of wear on the bottom tips. Next are three buttons from the "1956 Olympic Games." Each is 1.25" and Australian made. First shows "Shirley Strickland" with obvious edge stain. Second shows "Winsom Cripps" with center scuff that shows in reflected light but only a faint age dot on bottom edge. Third is "Lorraine Crapp." Couple of tiny dots on right side. Last is also Australian issued 1.25" button showing Olympic rings at center above the word "Supporter." Surrounding text is "Funds For The Australian Olympic Team/Rome 1960." Small 1/8" tan mark on bottom edge and reverse metal back has about 20% surface rust.
