Item Description
1.25" with blank backpaper. Small bit of oxidation on the collet and couple of faint spots on the back but just three extremely tiny marks on the front rim. Celluloid surface is just a hair concave. Little played college football at University of Pennsylvania from 1916-1919 and then with Frankford Yellow Jackets from 1920-1923. He coached Georgetown 1924-1929 and then Columbia 1930-1956. He was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1960. He also appeared as Lu Libble in Jack Kerouac's novel Maggie Cassidy which was a fictionalized account of Kerouac's early life but Kerouac did in fact play football (breaking his leg) at Columbia while Little was coach. Button still displays Extremely Fine with high gloss. Only example we've seen.
