Item Description
1-3/16" slightly convex with bar pin on reverse of a commemorative 1893 silver half dollar which has been precisely cut so that the center design of the ship and globes along with the entire surrounding text displays without any background. Text in full "World's Columbian Exposition/Chicago 1893" along with "1492" by the globes. The piece displays exacting workmanship. There are no traces of the coin design on the reverse. Mint as made.
