7x9.5x1.5" thick w/contents almost entirely in bw w/a few full color pages of household goods. Front cover reads "Shure Winner No. 126 Catalogue 1936/The World's Largest Novelty House In The Heart Of Chicago." In addition to the huge character and non-character toy selection, catalogue contains multiple pages picturing wristwatches, pocket watches, novelty clocks, jewelry, rings, lighters, pocket knifes, appliances, player-endorsed baseball equipment, Daisy rifles, bisque and celluloid figures, lamps, punchboards, carnival statues, stuffed animals, dolls, all of which are indexed. Character timepieces include Mickey Mouse, Popeye, Dick Tracy, Orphan Annie wristwatches; Buck Rogers, Mickey Mouse and Popeye pocket watches. Popeye items include pocket knife, tablets, pencil box, game, ring toss, marbles, compo figures. Other character items include Scrappy bank, comic bisques, Betty Boop windup, Dick Tracy Pocket-Light and pocket knife, Tom Mix pocket knife, Shirley Temple dolls, Orphan Annie embroidery, Flash Gordon casting set, Buck Rogers playsuit and Dick Tracy police sets. Mickey Mouse items include brush sets, William Rogers silver utensils, pencil boxes, lamp, dolls, tea set, stoves, rocking horse, banjo, pull toys, windups, blocks, games, sand pails and bisques. Other toys include bikes, tricycles, peddle cars, Structo, Keystone, American Flyer, Gilbert, Erector, banks, pull toys, windups, vehicles, Tootsietoys, books, Christmas, Halloween, premiums, novelties, balloons. Has several loose pages but catalogue is complete. A number of pages have moderate margin wear but overall contents remain exceptionally clean. Moderate scattered cover wear including a 6" crease along right edge of front cover. Cover is VG, vast majority of the pages remain VF including the entire toy section. Among the biggest and best illustrated 1930s catalogues we've ever seen.
