Lot of two 6x8x.75" comprehensive toy industry publications. One is for 1959-1960 w/476 pages, the other is 1960-1961 w/502 pages. Contents are mostly bw and largely text listings of toy manufacturers, wholesalers and other trade information. There are numerous ads throughout ranging from quarter page to full page. Ads for the 1959-60 guide include Buddy L, Knickerbocker Hanna-Barbera dolls, Gund dolls featuring Pluto, character costume ads for Halco, Collegeville and Ben Cooper, Yankiboy play clothes featuring Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, Tootsietoys, TV westerns hats and guns, etc. First eight pages have pulled loose and have additional tears. Rest of contents remain clean. Cover has moderate scattered wear including moisture ring at center. Cover and first few pages are VG, rest is VF to Exc. The 1960-61 issue features basically the same companies w/some of the ads identical, however, some w/slight differences and some are totally different. Two worth noting are an expanded full page ad for Knickerbocker picturing more H-B dolls as well as a rare series called "Art Linkletter's Moon-Niks" and full page Daisy ad featuring Cheyenne. First few pages have some small margin tears/corner bends but aside from lt. margin aging, contents are exceptionally clean and o/w VF to Exc. Moderate scattered cover wear, color rubs, lt. creases. Cover is VG.
