Item Description
Big die-cut metal frame 6.5x9.25" tall covered in celluloid on the front while reverse has copper flashing and pair of notches holding a movable wire easel so the piece will stand. Celluloid is covered with religious symbols while at center is real sepia photo of 21 year old man. Below is his name along with his birth and death dates spanning 1908-1929. Additional text on the celluloid reads "A Cross For A Crown/Gone Before." About a half dozen .5" light surface scratches show in reflected light. Piece still displays Exc. First of its kind we've seen in five decades.
