Item Description
13/16" with brass rim and loop holding glass cover over photo on the front while reverse is silver luster with irregular pattern of small raised accents. He was a nephew of Robert E. Lee serving in the Confederate cavalry during the Civil War. He lead the last charge of the Confederates before the surrender at Appomattox. He was also Consul-General in Havana at the time of the U.S.S. Maine explosion and then re-entered the army commanding the XII Army Corps. He then became military governor of Havana in 1899.
