Item Description
These four pieces are each on a stiff cardboard 3.5x6" precisely hand lettered and complete with their hand lettered sleeve. These are from a member of the 1960s Philadelphia coin club. Each shows the "G.A.R." star emblem and each includes the word "Souvenir." First is from National Encampment, Buffalo 1897. Three dots of luster off the "Souvenir" bar but rest is still Mint. Second is undated for "Souvenir Annual State G.A.R. Encampment." Mint. Third is 3.75" tall with ribbon badge signifying 33rd National Encampment Philadelphia in 1899. Last has faded gold lettering on the ribbon which is darkened and has a very neat repair on the back. Text can still be discerned that this is from 1897 Buffalo 31st National Encampment.
