Item Description
Smallest button is 5/8" with W&H backpaper. Largest is 1.75" also with W&H paper. In order top to bottom and left to right we have "Remember The Maine" with domed cello surrounded by brass rim. Set of small holes top and bottom as this was once affixed to a ribbon. Displays cleanly. Second shows full color depiction with initials above "A.O.O.P." Some tiny age dots on extreme right edge. First we've seen. Next is military themed button c. 1900 showing soldiers with cannon, soldier on horse back and a Maine-style battleship. Fourth is 1.25" real photo captioned "U.S.S. Maine." Next is silvered brass embossed pin featuring Cuban and American flags plus text "Remember The Maine." Tiniest paint loss on left side. Rare and NM. Last is 1.25" with W&H paper reading "Maine/The Boston Traveler/'War Before Dishonor.'" NM displaying Mint. A nice group including rarities.
