Item Description
5" tall with hanger bar showing U.S. Capitol. Below is ribbon segment followed by a second bar reading "Washington City Oct. 1899." This joins 1.75" heavy bronze medallion with his portrait and facsimile signature. On the back of this is large illustration of his ship. Reverse inscription on the bars reads in full "The Bronze In This Medal Was Captured By Admiral Dewey At Manila. Manila May 1, 1898." Tiny trace of wear on the fabric but very minor. Overall still in Exc. condition.
