Item Description
Each is 1.25". First reads "Army Nurses' Day 1919." On this the nurse holds an apparent captured German helmet with spike and presents it to a fierce bulldog. Second button relates to the aftermath of the war and reads "Limbless Soldiers Appeal 1925." Illustration includes a kangaroo along with British and Australian flags. First button has tiny brown dot at top while second is NM displaying Mint. Morry Greener Collection.
