Several companies made several different styles/sizes of Mickey Mouse blackboards during the 1930s. This was made by Richmond School Furniture Co. of Muncie, IN. c. 1934. Main blackboard/desk area measures 20.5x30" and is silk-screened Masonite on wooden easel legs. Stands 41.5" tall total. Top area has large Mickey at right drawing w/chalk, as if writing alphabet/numbers area which includes images of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar, and Clarabelle. Right side of blackboard area has wing nut that can be turned so blackboard area can be positioned flat for use as a desk. When this is done a two compartment storage unit w/additional Mickey and Minnie items is revealed. Scattered lt. surface/edge wear. Overall Fine. Blackboard was issued in wall model varieties as well as easel mounted. Nice graphics and well designed. Scarce.
