Item Description
1930s by Kuramochi, Japan. Toy consists of 6.75" tall Annie and 2.75" tall Sandy. Both figures are celluloid and are attached to painted tin platform bases w/wheels. These two pieces are attached by a string held in one of Annie's hands and hooked onto the front of Sandy's base. Annie base has built-in key. Annie holds hobo bundle on a stick over one shoulder. Sandy's head bobs up and down. Toy works and travels in a circle. Exc. Box has nice color label and shows lt. wear w/all lid corners split but Fine overall. Scarce w/box.
