Item Description
1" with name of Chicago firm Imber on the reverse. The Polish people suffered greatly during WWII having been invaded first by Germany and then by the Soviets. This button was produced shortly after Dec. 1944 when Prime Minister Winston Churchill announced to the House of Commons that, with Britain's consent, Poland would undergo its 5th Partition, allowing Russia to extend its western frontier to the Curzon line.
