This and the following five lots are all scarce varieties of the 1930s enamel on silvered brass pins depicting cartoon star Betty Boop. Each is 1.5" tall. This version of her in a long low cut red enamel dress and with tiny floral accent in her hair is particularly rare. We've seen it only a couple of times before. There is a tiny hole in her raised hand which once had a small chain leading to a Scottie dog pin. There are also a couple of faint hairline horizontal marks in the red enamel just below her belt. While these show just a little they are quite subtle and the piece still displays beautifully.
