Item Description
3.5" with young photos of the group on a button made by N.G. Slater with an address that includes a New York City zone number. There are more recent reproductions of this button but this is the original first issue. Much of the silvering is off the metal back along with small dots of oxidation along the outer edge. In spite of that the front remains totally clean and glossy. While the Beatles appeared on Ed Sullivan, the Stones appeared on Dean Martin's TV variety show The Hollywood Palace with Martin mocking both their hair and performance.
