Item Description
8.25" tall to the top of Dopey's head (11.25" tall to the top of the socket). Beautifully painted and glazed ceramic by Shaw and made for the Railley Corp. c. 1947. From a series that includes Joe Carioca and Donald Duck among others that had figurines made by Shaw. This is the rarest of that series. Great image of him walking forward and holding a lantern while base is simulated grass/ground. Lamp is complete w/original cord and works. Back edge of base has a 1.75" hairline crack. Overall appearance remains Exc. Rare and only the second we've offered in our 46 years.
