Item Description
Lot of two issues. No. 21 is from Sept.5, 1941 and features the first appearance of Captain Marvel Squadron of Justice. Captain and his Suadron of Justice are pictured on the front cover. Contains Captain Marvel story as well as Spy Smasher story among others. Book has some light wear with pinch creases to spine and some very minor fading at spine. Back cover has some dust soiling. Pages have some creases at corners but are complete and intact. Fine. "Captain Marvel StoryBook" No. 1 was published in 1946. This booklet features a format similar to that of the BLB with prose on one side and comic art (often full page panels) on the other. Inside front cover features offers for Captain Marvel premiums including figurine. Some light handling wear with pinch creases to spine and corner foxing. Fine with a VF appearance. Both books were published by Fawcett Publications, Inc.
