Item Description
of 8 comics published by Marvel Comics. Lot includes "Iron Man and Sub-Mariner" #1, the one-shot issue that predates both Iron Man and Sub-Mariner's own books. This was published in April 1968. Book has some light aging to white areas and pinch creases to spine. Some minor corner foxing with a 1/8" spine split at bottom. Fine. Rest of lot consist of "Tales To Astonish" featuring Sub-Mariner and The Incredible Hulk issues #73-75,77-78,80-81. This title will later become "The Incredible Hulk" in issue 102 on. Each issue features two stories, one focusing on Sub-Mariner and the other on the Incredible Hulk. Titles in this lot include appearances by the Watcher, Leader, Mole Man and Boomerang. Issues have handling wear including pinch creases to spine and chipping at bottom margin and corner tip wear. Some light aging. Issue 77 has some moderate chipping at bottom. And handling wear to subscription crease. Good. Otherwise remaining are VG.
