4.5" long cardboard box w/hinged lid contains pocket watch w/2" dia. metal case. 1934. Box is complete w/separate brick design cardboard insert that holds included 1.5" tall brass fob. Fob shows the Three Pigs in brass luster and variety w/enameled paint design of red bkg., green shirts on Pigs w/black accents on piano. Nice image of Pigs playing instruments w/"Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf" text at top. Complete w/plain leather strap. Light wear w/some luster loss along bottom edge. Fine. Same art appears on inside/outside of lid and features Practical Pig building brick house w/inset portrait of the Wolf. Light trace of wear, mostly along edges and at corners which remain tight. Fine. Insert is VF. Dial features great full figure images of Three Pigs plus large Wolf head w/separate eye that moves as seconds tick. Back of case is designed like a brick wall w/large door at center w/incised text "May The Big Bad Wolf Never Come To Your Door - Walt Disney." This pocket watch is typically found w/the red accent paint on case back missing, however, this example has it intact. This is rarely the case. Case retains near full silver luster. Crystal comes loose but is present. Dial is bright and clean w/very strong color, especially to the red bkg. which was prone to fading. Superior high grade Exc./NM example of this classic character timepiece. Even includes original guarantee paper and instruction sheet. Rare w/box and in this condition.
