Item Description
3 5/8X6.5" these envelopes were both postmarked in 1945. First envelope has a raised printed image of the Alfred E. Neuman character with text reading "I'm Buying War Bonds." Underneath portrait "Me worry? H--- no! I'm gonna join the navy." Second envelope features a female version of Neuman printed in the same manner with text "I'm buying more stamps." W/text running underneath "Me worry? H- no! I'm going to join the WACS and quit milking cows." Both have some tanning with second envelope having some spotting as well. Back of envelopes have two 3.25" pieces of paper that were used for mounting. VF.
