Item Description
Small size variety measures 2.5x4.5x3.75" tall and is painted and glazed ceramic. c. 1938. Believed to be a personalized variation for/by a Brayton employee and apparently done as a bud vase w/opening at shoulders. Similar in design to the extensive series of Ferdinand characters (see larger Ferdinand #2219 and Ferdinand's Ma figurine #2221). Exc. Unlisted in Disneyana Collectors Guide To California Pottery by Frick & Hodge and the only example we know of.
