8.5x11" typed letter on "The Lionel Corporation - Lionel Electric Trains" letterhead is dated Sept. 24, 1935 and is signed by their Vice President in Charge of Sales. Addressed to Alexander Drysdale & Son of Bennington, VT. Superb content stating "We Have Been Notified By Kay Kamen Of Your Intention To Feature A Mickey Mouse Promotional Campaign In Your Toy Department This Christmas." Specific Disney content includes mention of "Mickey Mouse Circus Train No. 1536" (see previous item #2139), Mickey Mouse Freight and Passenger Outfits, "Mickey Mouse Hand Car" as well as "Santa Hand Car." Letter has been folded as mailed and is lightly aged. Exc. An important piece of Disney ephemera regarding some of the all time great toys in the annals of Disneyana. Rare.
