Item Description
11 x 28 x 3" deep box contains playset #4320 from 1952. Box has heavy wear including split corners on bottom, one of which is repaired with masking and fiberglass tape. Lid has 1" split along back side, areas of tape stain and overall moderate dust soiling, VG. Very nicely designed set includes extremely colorful tin litho circus tent and midway signs w/platforms. These include illustrations of numerous circus attendees and sideshow attractions. Numerous figures include Mary Hartline, Ringmaster Kirschner and clowns Cliffy, Scampy and Nickie plus many different performers and animals. There are also many hard plastic accessories including performance rings, popcorn wagon, barker's stand, etc. Tin pieces have been assembled at one time and are Fine. Figures and accessories are VF/EX. Set is almost complete except for the following, missing one yellow barrel, one square and one round platform, a yellow clown and a sitting monkey. two extra pieces are a grey walking elephant and a grey lion. Instruction sheet is heavily work with numerous tears and just comes along. Nicely detailed circus set.
