Item Description
c. mid-1930s by N.N. Hill Brass Co. who produced a number of different Disney telephone toys including several color and style variations of Donald Duck (see item #2230) and Mickey Mouse telephones. 4.75" tall pressed steel w/thick die-cut cardboard Donald figure attachment. Rotary dial works and rings. Has original fabric cord. This is variety w/bank box attachment on bank. Has designated coin slots for pennies, nickels and dimes. Obvious wear and aging. Scattered paint flakes. Figure has few creases and .5" surface paper flakes off hat. Overall VG. All of these phones are rare and this bank version is the most desirable.
